Aloha! in this post I will write about to a country that I would like to visit. this country is Hawaii, I love Hawaii! the beach, the surf, the most relaxed lifestyle.  Hawaii is a group of islands that belong to the Polynesian culture. I think that this ethnic group or Culture is one of the most peculiar in the world. with their colors, design, tattoos, music and traditional dance. it is wonderful. T he first country I will visit after I finish university will be Hawaii. I am going to climb volcano; I will go to the beach every day and I will climb the stairway that reaches sky, The Haiku skay.  The Haiku skay  is a path whith of almost 4000 steps that reaches the highest part of the islands.  it is a place that has always caught my attention.  

This year, by the University, I had to write a blog and in English. I generally like to write. I feel that when writing ideas are sorted, clarified and materialized. When  you write a blog, in a way you must empathize with the person on the other side of the screen, so that what you write is pleasant to read and easy to understand. And a blog is not only about writing, it's also about visual components. The colors must be eye-catching and pleasant, the images are also very important, as images are the first impression of the post. But it's another thing to write in English. At first, I struggled to transfer ideas to another language, but over time it became more bearable and ideas were flowing more easily. Today I a m going to talk to about chickpeas. Chickpeas are my favorite food, I love chickpeas. But especially the chickpeas cooked by my mom. Although I know the recipe, I never manage to match the taste she gives her. Therefore, every time I travel to see her, I ask her to wait with a delicious dish of chickpeas. In general, the chickpeas are very versatile. You can prepare traditionally as stew. Or you can also eat them in the form of hummus. Hummus is a very friendly way to eat legumes, as it serves to spread, as a food accompanist, or to eat it for a spoonful. In addition, you can make many versions of hummus. With beetroot, with paprika, with avocado, with turmeric and infinite combinations more. From a very young age I remember that chickpeas have been in my life. When I lived in the countryside, I remember when they were planted, watered and cared for, harvested and let dry before they were threshed. In forest engineering usually (not to say always) studies and analyses the environment in which we are involved, and we are part, such as geography, water resources, wildlife, forests, ecosystems and society. And in this semester, I had to study a subject called Geomatics. At first it didn't attract much attention to me, but as I was studying I realized that it is very interesting. Geomatics is the science that deals with the management of geographical information using information and communication technologies. Geomatics is a very useful tool in forestry engineering. Through the Geomatics can be analyzed various environmental phenomena. For example, the consequences of climate change in the vegetation cover, the behavior of the species (flora and fauna) in a particular place, you can analyze different topographic features of the landscape that serves as support in the decision-making. In the forestry engineering we use many geospatial data.  These data are needed primarily to determine the work area in research. For example, the region of the country, commune or locality. To obtain this information there exists a web page that is called IDE (www.ide.cl) That means Geospatial Data Infrastructure. The IDE of Chile is a network of public institutions working in a coordinated and collaborative. With the objective of making available to the whole community, geospatial information updated and reliable. That is useful for public and private management, also attending to the needs of citizens. My favorite writer is Hernán Rivera Letelier. He was born 11th of July in 1950. He is a Chilean novelist and poet. He  was born in Talca, but then moved to Antofagasta. In 1994, he published his first novel, “La reina Isabel cantaba rancheras”. Book with which he became known in Chile and some part of the world. My favorite books are “La muerte es una vieja historia” (2015), “La muerte tiene olor a pachulí” (2016) And I am waiting to read “La muerte se desnuda en La Habana ” (2017). That I think it is also going to become one of my favorites. Well, I really like reading your books, because when you sit down to read you can’t stop until you finish it. The way to tell stories is simple, easy to understand (for Chileans) and very nice. It is impossible that when you are reading do not escape a laugh. In the year 2013, I was 18 years old. I went on a trip to a volunteer in San Pedro de  Atacama. This volunteer only lasted ten days. But those ten days were enough for an unforgettable experience. This trip was unpredictable, because I didn't know anyone. I only went with a group of young people from different places in Chile, with the idea of working voluntarily in a national park. With the course of the day we became friends, all were we very states.  We  worked from sunrise to sunset and what we spent amazing. We were seven days without bathing. As we were working in the desert, we had little  water, and  we had to take it to drink. We also had a lot of cold, because we slept in tents. And at night they had degrees below zero. But at the end of the day, it was just details.  Because  it was an instance where I met beautiful places and the very nice people, with whom up to today we continue in contact.
